Warren County, in cooperation with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration, hosted a Public Information Center meeting to inform local residents, officials, businesses and the general public of the Freight Concept Development Study to address the existing weight restriction issue at the 3rd Avenue Bridge under the Washington Secondary rail line located at the Town of Hackettstown.

The purpose of the meeting was to inform the public of the preliminary preferred alternative and to solicit feedback on the recommendation to address the weight restriction. The public was invited and encouraged to comment on the study. The meeting was conducted in conformance with Federal and State regulations.
